This dodgy looking brick did not instill much confidence in me upon the first glance, with an illegible QS stamp (do they really have stamps for that? ), a generic name and a strange design that reminds me of an 80s Nintendo game cardige.
My trusty tea seller none the less insured me it’s good stuff, so I gave it a go.
The material used for the brick looks solid and the resulting liquor (sorry no pictures) is on the red wine end of the spectrum and doesn’t turn much darker than that.
The taste is of medium sweet chinese red date with a long aftertaste and no off flavors.
The cha qi is the usual calm energy of most shu pus out there.
